Tensions over high school mobilizations and critiques of media and institutional practices
Institutions and democracy
The management of high school protests reflects a global drift of the rule of law according to Mediapart, while PaduTeam claims that democracy has been abolished under Emmanuel Macron. ClemovitchReplay argues that the government uses intelligence documents to falsely accuse La France Insoumise. Conversely, LE LAPIN DU FUTUR suggests that La France Insoumise uses violence in an attempt to seize power. Additionally, Clément Viktorovitch considers that limiting the budget amendment power hinders parliamentarians, and OMERTA highlights that the military engagement at the Yambou terminal was not coordinated with Parliament.
Security and justice
Police exercise disproportionate violence against high school students according to ClemovitchReplay, a view shared by Paroles D'Honneur which denounces the illegal use of offensive grenades. For its part, Mediapart claims that the Rassemblement National seeks to discredit the media to avoid addressing the core issues. Vincent Lapierre reports being prevented from accessing a protest because he belongs to a right-wing media outlet. Histoires Crépues highlights that the media portray mobilizing high school students as rioters.
Education and culture
The lack of attractiveness of the teaching profession weakens the educational system according to Mediapart. Histoires Crépues argues that high school students are mobilizing for better educational conditions. ClemovitchReplay views the dialogue platform for students as a manipulative maneuver. Tensions over high school management, authenticity of Jordan Bardella's writings, and the role of the State
Institutions and democracy
