Hosting
The site is served by the project’s own infrastructure, behind the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, United States), which provides public delivery and access protection.
Fair dealing for research
Videos, their transcripts and their comments are collected and analysed under fair dealing for research and private study (s. 29 of the Canadian Copyright Act). Platform content is never redistributed as such. No video is rebroadcast, the player points to the platform, and the full text of transcripts and comments is reachable only by research projects, under controlled access. Nothing is used for commercial purposes.
Intellectual property
Videos and comments remain the property of their authors and of the platforms that carry them. The texts, figures, charts and automatic records published on this site are those of the YOUPOL project; they may be cited and reused with attribution and a link to the source page.
Texts generated by our model
Records, syntheses and arguments marked “Generated by our model” are written automatically by our local language model from the transcripts, checked against the text and not reviewed by the team. They describe what the videos say without judging its validity; anything can be reported through the contact form.
Personal data
The site sets no advertising tracker. The data collected on visitors, the third-party services called and the processing of corpus data are described in the privacy policy. The name of a private person named in a video is never published.

Any request about a page, a record or a data item of the site can be sent through the contact form; it is handled by the person responsible.
