An observatory of political YouTube and TikTok.
YouPol tracks more than 100 political channels and accounts in France, Quebec and the United States. Using machine-learning and artificial-intelligence methods, the observatory collects, archives and analyses the videos, what they say and the reactions they draw from the public.
Every video published by the tracked channels is transcribed, summarised and counted by our local models. This panel gathers the synthesis of the last seven days, the records to read, the themes, the public figures named, the arguments and the removals; the three countries together or one of them, as you choose.
France Mediapart reports that antisemitic writings and links to Alain Soral are attributed to Jordan Bardella between 2013 and 2015. The elected official denies authorship of these remarks and denounces a deceptive operation. The channel claims that the Rassemblement National uses diversion to hide the party's original ideology.
Vincent Lapierre documents a rise in delinquency and burned cars in La Souterraine in Creuse. The videographer claims that the State no longer respects the social contract because taxes no longer guarantee security. An interviewee in the report attributes these disturbances to migrants.
GoldenBoy relates his experience during student mobilizations in Saint-Denis and at Paris 8 University. He claims to have been insulted by protesters and validates the police intervention against rioters. The videographer attributes the youth's indiscipline to a failure in parental education and the influence of TikTok.
Quebec Daniel Pilon and his guests react to the increase in fuel prices in Ontario and Quebec. A guest argues that this situation results from a World Economic Forum plan to crush the supply chain by 2030. The channel claims that Donald Trump is manipulated by those controlling prices.
Le Verbe médias discusses a survey on the decline in sexual intercourse frequency among Generation Z in the United States. The debate also addresses Parti Québécois proposals on secularism in primary schools. An interviewee argues that the ban on religious symbols infringes on freedom of conscience.
Camron Diffusion comments on testimonies from women expressing loneliness regarding dating. The videographer claims that female celibacy results from a refusal of the average man in favor of inaccessible men. He argues that feminist ideology has stripped women of their seduction tools.
United States Breaking Points presents Representative Ro Khanna's bill aiming to ban the recursive self-improvement of artificial intelligence. The lawmaker advocates for the creation of an independent security agency to regulate tech billionaires. He also denounces links between certain tech leaders and Jeffrey Epstein.
The integration of artificial intelligence in educational and creative fields sparks diverging positions. Yomi Denzel, from a libertarian orientation, argues that schools must evolve to integrate AI through the resolution of concrete problems rather than seeking to limit the use of the tool. From a different perspective, the channel Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS, from an extreme right orientation, claims that AI allows for the production of websites and visual content on a low budget, tools he specifically uses to accompany the release of his album.
Commercial automation is presented as a lever for growth and profitability. Jonathan Hatchi, from a libertarian orientation, promotes the use of agentic AI to automate customer acquisition, provided that the commercial offer is already validated. He simultaneously criticizes French taxation, specifically VAT, which he considers a hindrance to profitability compared to the American model. In Quebec, Maxime Ouimet, from an extreme right orientation, considers paper marketing obsolete and advocates for a shift to digital for its statistical precision, notably through the promotion of his Floride411.com directory for entrepreneurs in Florida.
The concept of national priority is the subject of an ideological clash in a video from the channel Les films à l'arrache, of a cultural orientation. One speaker defines this principle as granting priority aid to French citizens, while another participant describes it as hate speech comparable to the Vichy regime and believes that foreigners should have more rights than French citizens. Regarding the environment, the channel Mediapart, of a left-wing orientation, presents radical ecology as an approach tackling structural causes. It denounces the agricultural orientation law, calling it a dystopia, and accuses the company Syngenta of being responsible for ecocides, while asserting that the management of heatwaves reveals race and class inequalities.
Male-female relationships are analyzed through the lens of an isolation crisis and ideological opposition. In Quebec, the channel Camron Diffusion, from a manosphere orientation, attributes female celibacy to excessive selectivity and claims that feminist ideology has reduced women to their physical appearance by devaluing seduction tools. In France, the channel Sana Nova, also from a manosphere orientation, argues that feminism 2.0 is waging a war against nature with the aim of destroying men. This same channel criticizes the goal of absolute independence advocated by this movement, opposing it with the principles of complementarity and interdependence within the couple.
Some videos document field actions and organizational strategies for the right. The channel Frontières, from an extreme right orientation, films Sarah Knafo during meetings with people in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Furthermore, the channel Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS, from an extreme right orientation, recommends that right-wing individuals create their own production companies in order to professionalize their activities.
Topics of the claims in 235 records: Institutions and democracy (15%), Economy and labour (14%), Security and justice (12%), Gender and family (9%).

Mediapart reveals antisemitic and conspiracy-theory writings attributed to Jordan Bardella between 2013 and 2015. Clément Viktorovitch claims that these messages testify to a structural ideology of the Rassemblement National. Jordan Bardella denies being the author of these remarks and denounces a 'barbouzerie' operation.
Vincent Lapierre documents a rise in delinquency and burned cars in La Souterraine, in the Creuse department. He claims that the State no longer respects the social contract because taxes no longer guarantee security. Contributors to the report attribute these disturbances to migrants.
GoldenBoy relates his experience during student mobilizations in Saint-Denis and Paris 8. He claims to have been prevented from debating and describes this refusal as fascism. The videographer validates the police intervention against individuals he calls rioters.
Le Fil d'Actu - Officiel links the rise in fuel prices to geopolitical chaos in the Middle East. The channel argues that the government uses the Russian threat as a diversion to mask the failure of economic policies. This narrative would serve to impose a United States of Europe project.
The concept of national priority is the subject of an ideological clash on the channel Les films à l'arrache. One speaker defines this principle as priority aid for French citizens and argues that preferring foreigners over French people is akin to following Pétain's logic. Conversely, another speaker describes national priority as "hate speech" comparable to the Vichy regime and asserts that foreigners should have more rights than French citizens.
The impact of artificial intelligence is analyzed from several angles. Yomi Denzel argues that schools should evolve toward solving concrete problems with AI rather than maintaining handwriting for assimilation. In the entrepreneurial field, Jonathan Hatchi asserts that agentic AI allows for the automation of customer acquisition, provided that the commercial offer is already validated. Meanwhile, Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS mentions the use of AI to reduce costs for creating websites and visual clips.
On a social and environmental level, Mediapart presents radical ecology as a struggle against structural causes, citing the company Syngenta as responsible for ecocides and describing the "agricultural orientation law" as a "dystopia." The channel also analyzes the management of heatwaves as a political phenomenon revealing "class" and "race" inequalities. Simultaneously, Sana Nova criticizes "feminism 2.0," claiming that it seeks to destroy men and promotes an absolute independence contrary to the mutual interdependence between men and women.
Economic and national stakes are addressed by Jonathan Hatchi, who considers French taxation to be penalizing compared to the United States and deplores a lack of patriotism among French people. Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS encourages right-wing individuals to create production companies to professionalize their activities. Finally, the channel Frontières reports that Sarah Knafo held a book signing in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, while Kroc Blanc presented a new album and plans a children's book and a documentary on Hugo II.
Topics of the claims in 180 records: Institutions and democracy (16%), Security and justice (14%), Education and culture (11%), Gender and family (10%).

The channel Président De L'Association De L’Union-Nationale reacts to a formal notice received on September 25 from the Directeur général des élections du Québec. The video creator claims that the organization is using abusive legal remedies to persecute him. He links the onset of stomach cancer to the stress caused by this situation.
Maxime Ouimet comments on the cessation of activities of the company La Cordée. He argues that this bankruptcy is explained by a lack of flexibility and fixed costs that are too high compared to competition from Amazon. The channel advocates for the relocation of companies to the United States to optimize profitability.
The channel Theovox tv hosts a panel on climate change. Participants claim that human influence on warming is minimal and dispute the reliability of mathematical models. They argue that globalists use the fear of CO2 to control humans and replace the traditional economy.
Daniel Pilon Chroniqueur Libre-Penseur addresses the rise in fuel prices. A guest argues that this situation results from a World Economic Forum plan to crush the supply chain by 2030. The video creator claims that Donald Trump is manipulated by actors controlling prices and the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz.
Female celibacy and relationship difficulties in 2026 are analyzed on the Camron Diffusion channel. Based on testimonies from women deploring loneliness and the low quality of profiles on dating apps, the videographer claims that this celibacy results from a rejection of average men in favor of inaccessible profiles. According to this manosphere-oriented channel, feminist ideology has devalued traditional seduction tools, reducing women to their physical appearance alone. The videographer argues that the independence promoted by feminism inevitably leads to social and family isolation as women approach their forties.
In parallel, the Maxime Ouimet channel, categorized as far-right, criticizes the obsolescence of print advertising newspapers, describing them as the "dinosaur generation." The videographer claims that this model lacks automation and precise performance measurements. He contrasts this system with digital marketing and algorithms, which he argues allow for the tracking of impressions and leads. In this context, Maxime Ouimet promotes his digital directory Floride411.com for French-speaking entrepreneurs in Florida, arguing that organic visibility and geolocation are more profitable than traditional local advertisements.
Topics of the claims in 50 records: Economy and labour (31%), Institutions and democracy (13%), Immigration (11%), Technology (10%).

A voluntary agreement on the security of "superintelligence" has been reached between Donald Trump and AI leaders. Donald Trump and Elon Musk argue that self-regulation is preferable because industry actors are the most competent. Conversely, Breaking Points denounces this self-policing system and suggests that leaders should be prosecuted for illegal data extraction. Meanwhile, Representative Ro Khanna proposes legislation to ban recursive self-improvement in AI and create an independent security agency, asserting that tech billionaires cannot self-regulate. In a debate reported by Breaking Points, Bill Gates considers AI the most dangerous invention in history and rejects the idea that market incentives are sufficient, while Ezra Klein suggests that civil liability could limit risks. Breaking Points supports the need for strict regulations comparable to those in the pharmaceutical industry.
Anthropic co-founder Mr. Ola wishes to establish morality within the Claude model and suggests that AI could possess "personhood," opposing the position of the Pope. According to Breaking Points, this recourse to religious experts proves that creators no longer master their technology and that AI cannot be human because it is not mortal, although others view this spirituality as an extension of human nature. Bill Gates also likens AIs to "aliens." Economically, Bill Gates proposes taxing robots to fund pensions, a position relayed by Breaking Points to compensate for the loss of social security contributions. Additionally, Ro Khanna deplores the use of AI to maximize profits in healthcare and suggests that a single-payer system would limit billing abuses. Finally, total automation is presented by some as a risk of cognitive degradation, according to Breaking Points.
The September 2026 employment report shows figures lower than expected. Breaking Points analyzes the impact of these data and reports that this economic degradation would make the public more sensitive to corruption allegations targeting the president. The channel also mentions a Donald Trump rally in Oklahoma and the organization of paid dinners for cryptocurrency investors, a practice described by one speaker as a lack of ethics.

Each channel is chosen and coded by the team. It gets an orientation, a country and a language. The far right is deliberately over-represented, to study it closely. The English-language corpus was extended in October 2026. Its videos are transcribed and summarised, and its classifiers will soon be trained and deployed.
Six methods, run on the project’s computers, each documented with its models, thresholds and reliability. Pick a step.
The channels’ RSS feeds are read every six hours; every week their full list of videos is reread. A detected video enters the queue with its date; those of the last seven days go ahead of everything else.
The video, its metadata and its comments are extracted; the audience is measured again at day 1, 7 and 30. A removal is recorded with its reason when the platform gives one, and a transcribed video keeps its record.
The voice is isolated from the music (Demucs), speakers told apart without being identified (pyannote), then Whisper transcribes each speaking turn in the spoken language, detected by windows. Turns are cut into sentences (SaT).
Each sentence is classified as political or not by a classifier trained on human annotations, then assigned to nine themes by nine binary classifiers. Their reliability (F1, checked precision) is published.
The public figures, parties, organisations, media and countries of a closed list are recognised in the sentences by checked patterns and counted video by video. A private person named in a video is never counted.
A local language model writes for each video of the week a record in French and English. It gives the title, the summary, the claims and their speakers, the public figures named. The record is checked against the transcript; a name that could be a private person’s holds it back. The records feed the week’s synthesis and the arguments by theme.
