An observatory of political YouTube and TikTok.
YouPol tracks more than 100 political channels and accounts in France, Quebec and the United States. Using machine-learning and artificial-intelligence methods, the observatory collects, archives and analyses the videos, what they say and the reactions they draw from the public.
Every video published by the tracked channels is transcribed, summarised and counted by our local models. This panel gathers the synthesis of the last seven days, the records to read, the themes, the public figures named, the arguments and the removals; the three countries together or one of them, as you choose.
Writings attributed to Jordan Bardella are the subject of a sharp controversy. Mediapart as well as the left-wing channels Clément Viktorovitch and Paroles D'Honneur claim that these texts are antisemitic and conspiracy-minded. Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen deny these accusations, describing them as manipulations and a frame-up. In response, the far-right channels Psyhodelik and Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS view this event as a political execution targeting the elected official. For its part, the PaduTeam channel suggests that Marine Le Pen could use this affair to remove Jordan Bardella from the political scene.
High school blockades in France provoke opposing interpretations regarding their causes and nature. BLAST, Le souffle de l'info and Jean Massiet Replay, oriented to the left, attribute these movements to a lack of resources and denounce police violence, with BLAST mentioning state violence. Conversely, the far-right channels OMERTA and Psyhodelik describe these mobilizations as riots or an Islamo-Marxist insurrection orchestrated by La France Insoumise. However, a testimony collected by OMERTA provides a nuance, specifying that the blockades specifically aim to denounce the use of defective equipment in schools.
The economic debate crystallizes around taxation and the modernization of education. Libertarians Yomi Denzel and Jonathan Hatchi advocate for the integration of AI in education and criticize taxation that they deem penalizing for entrepreneurship. In contrast, Mediapart and Jean Massiet Replay denounce an austerity budget that would unduly favor companies at the expense of social welfare. Furthermore, El Rayhan, a far-right channel, strongly opposes the taxation of billionaires, perceiving it as an unjustified measure.
On the security front, Vincent Lapierre and GEORGES, oriented far-right, link the increase in crime to migratory flows. La Sanction supports the existence of systemic anti-white racism and calls for the abolition of public service media. Meanwhile, Boulevard Voltaire presents a debate on national priority, described either as necessary aid for citizens or as hate speech. Regarding male-female relations, Sana Nova and The Blind Spot, from the manosphere, claim that contemporary feminism seeks to dominate men, while Killian Sensei - L'HEYOKAGE criticizes the hypersexualization of women and advocates for polygyny. Finally, Pragmatik Man and Mediapart describe Pink October as a commercial scam or marketing recovery.
International tensions are analyzed through diverging lenses. In France, OMERTA accuses the European Union of using Russia as a diversion and claims that the bombing of Kramatorsk is a false flag operation. Idriss J. Aberkane, Ph.D x3 denounces the dehumanization linked to the use of AI by the Israeli army in Gaza, while Castor Carnassier links global inflation to the preparations for a third world war. In the United States, PowerfulJRE criticizes American funding of Israel and Breaking Points accuses the Pentagon of covering up a war crime in Iran. Regarding an attempted hijacking of a flight to Tel Aviv, Ben Shapiro and xaviaer attribute it to the radical Islamic world, while Breaking Points claims that Benyamin Netanyahu is instrumentalizing the incident.
In Quebec, Maxime Ouimet links the departure of manufacturers to the United States to a lack of economic flexibility. NLB - FreedomNews attributes this decline to taxes, immigration, and the application of a law on psychological risks at work. On the health front, Actualité Politique Du Québec accuses Health Canada of depending on the CropLife lobby and reports a testimony linking vaccination to six infant deaths. Furthermore, Daniel Pilon Chroniqueur Libre-Penseur alleges that the World Economic Forum is organizing the rise in fuel prices, while Theovox tv describes the climate discourse as a globalist false religion. Finally, Le Verbe médias reports that a speaker perceives the school secularism of the Parti Québécois as state atheism.
In the United States, the figure of Donald Trump is at the center of criticism. Brian Tyler Cohen describes his financial promise as an illegal vote purchase. MeidasTouch mentions his cognitive decline and his vulnerability to Vladimir Putin. Additionally, Breaking Points reports an Axios report alleging the illegal use of public funds for propaganda purposes.
The "Hands Off Our Vote" event in Manhattan brings together speakers who claim that Donald Trump and the Republicans will attempt to interfere with the ballot and suppress voting rights. According to the channel Legal AF (left), participants denounce the closure of polling stations in certain neighborhoods and cyber vulnerabilities during the transfer of results. To counter these risks, officials call for the mobilization of volunteers and for voting to begin as soon as early voting opens. One speaker also mentions a court decision from the Southern District of New York prohibiting ICE from carrying out mass arrests in immigration courts.
At the same time, the channel MeidasTouch (left) argues that Donald Trump is an electoral liability for Republican candidates during the midterm elections. The videographer relies on a secret recording in which Ken Paxton allegedly admits that Trump's impact has lowered the polls, citing a Fox News poll placing Democratic candidate James Tallarico in the lead. MeidasTouch criticizes Trump's support for Ken Paxton, which is said to be justified by the latter's attempts to contest the 2020 presidential election results.
In Quebec, the channel Maxime Ouimet (extreme right) presents an account of obtaining a green card in the United States. The videographer explains that he first applied for a student visa, but claims that the procedures were blocked and sources of uncertainty. He argues that marrying his partner was a relevant solution to facilitate his settlement and access to work, leading to the abandonment of his student visa application in favor of a "green card" application.
Topics of the claims in 322 records: Institutions and democracy (18%), Economy and labour (14%), Security and justice (12%), Education and culture (9%).

The channel PaduTeam suggests, however, that Marine Le Pen could use this situation to remove Jordan Bardella from the political scene.
Blockade movements in high schools are interpreted in divergent ways. BLAST, Le souffle de l'info and Jean Massiet Replay, left-wing channels, attribute these mobilizations to a lack of resources and denounce police violence. Conversely, the far-right channels OMERTA and Psyhodelik describe these actions as riots or an Islamo-Marxist insurrection orchestrated by LFI. A testimony published on OMERTA provides a nuance by specifying that the blockades specifically aim to denounce defective equipment.
Gender relations and health campaigns are questioned by several actors. Sana Nova and The Blind Spot, from the manosphere, argue that contemporary feminism seeks to dominate men. Killian Sensei - L'HEYOKAGE, also from the manosphere, criticizes the hypersexualization of women and advocates for polygyny. At the same time, the Pink October campaign is described as a commercial scam by Pragmatik Man, while Mediapart, a left-wing channel, sees it as marketing recovery.
Economic visions clash over taxation and education. Yomi Denzel and Jonathan Hatchi, of libertarian orientation, advocate for AI-based teaching and criticize taxation they deem penalizing for entrepreneurship. In contrast, Mediapart and Jean Massiet Replay denounce an austerity budget that would favor companies at the expense of social needs. El Rayhan, a far-right channel, opposes the taxation of billionaires.
On the domestic front, Vincent Lapierre and GEORGES link the rise in crime to migratory flows. La Sanction supports the existence of systemic anti-white racism and calls for the abolition of public service media. Regarding international affairs, OMERTA accuses the EU of using Russia as a diversion and claims that the bombing of Kramatorsk is a false flag operation. Idriss J. Aberkane, Ph.D x3 denounces the dehumanization linked to AI used by the Israeli army in Gaza, while Castor Carnassier links inflation to the preparations for a third world war.
Finally, Action Vitale claims that evidence of American interference in Quebec is weak. Frontières mentions the possibility of a majority for the Parti Québécois. Furthermore, OMERTA analyzes the influence of fuel prices on the American election scheduled for November 3, 2026.
The concept of national priority is the subject of an ideological clash on the channel Les films à l'arrache. One speaker defines this principle as priority aid for French citizens and argues that preferring foreigners over French people is akin to following Pétain's logic. Conversely, another speaker describes national priority as "hate speech" comparable to the Vichy regime and asserts that foreigners should have more rights than French citizens.
The impact of artificial intelligence is analyzed from several angles. Yomi Denzel argues that schools should evolve toward solving concrete problems with AI rather than maintaining handwriting for assimilation. In the entrepreneurial field, Jonathan Hatchi asserts that agentic AI allows for the automation of customer acquisition, provided that the commercial offer is already validated. Meanwhile, Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS mentions the use of AI to reduce costs for creating websites and visual clips.
On a social and environmental level, Mediapart presents radical ecology as a struggle against structural causes, citing the company Syngenta as responsible for ecocides and describing the "agricultural orientation law" as a "dystopia." The channel also analyzes the management of heatwaves as a political phenomenon revealing "class" and "race" inequalities. Simultaneously, Sana Nova criticizes "feminism 2.0," claiming that it seeks to destroy men and promotes an absolute independence contrary to the mutual interdependence between men and women.
Economic and national stakes are addressed by Jonathan Hatchi, who considers French taxation to be penalizing compared to the United States and deplores a lack of patriotism among French people. Kroc Blanc - FDENEWS encourages right-wing individuals to create production companies to professionalize their activities. Finally, the channel Frontières reports that Sarah Knafo held a book signing in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, while Kroc Blanc presented a new album and plans a children's book and a documentary on Hugo II.
Topics of the claims in 216 records: Institutions and democracy (17%), Security and justice (14%), Education and culture (13%), Gender and family (10%).

The decline of the entrepreneurial sector and the departure of manufacturers to the United States are subject to sharp criticism. Maxime Ouimet, associated with the far-right orientation, attributes this situation to a lack of flexibility and predicts an economic bankruptcy more severe than that of 1929 under Justin Trudeau's government. For its part, NLB - FreedomNews, also of a far-right orientation, links this decline to regulation and "leftist mentalities," claiming that immigration and taxes stagnate the Canadian GDP. Maxime Ouimet also notes that French-speaking companies based in Florida suffer from a "political war" between the two countries as well as the effects of the exchange rate. Meanwhile, NLB - FreedomNews denounces the doubling of the Canadian debt and criticizes the 2021 Quebec law on psychological risks at work, judging that it hinders business creation.
Artificial intelligence is sparking existential concerns and political controversies. Daniel Pilon Chroniqueur Libre-Penseur, of the conspiracy theory orientation, and NLB - FreedomNews, of the far-right orientation, warn about the dangers of AI for infrastructure. Maxime Ouimet argues that superintelligence will only benefit the elites. Meanwhile, Actualité Politique Du Québec and NLB - FreedomNews report accusations of deception regarding the use of AI by Éric Duhaime. The latter nuances these claims by admitting to having used the tool to structure his book. On a different note, Daniel Pilon claims that warnings about the dangers of AI are actually a political hoax intended to frighten the public.
Political and electoral management in Quebec is contested on several fronts. NLB - FreedomNews criticizes a voting guide intended for Muslims and suggests removing the right to vote for voters who fail a political quiz. The President of the Association de l'Union-Nationale denounces the DGEQ's lawsuits, calling them "abusive remedies." In parallel, Actualité Politique Du Québec reports Paul-Saint-Pierre Plamondon's proposals on freezing elected officials' salaries as well as the Conservative Party's plan for increased penal firmness. Internationally, NLB - FreedomNews advocates for a moratorium on immigration to Canada and describes a Dubai-Tel Aviv aerial incident as a jihadist attack linked to Iran, while Maxime Ouimet claims that French laws on hate speech aim to censor criticisms of immigration.
Climate discourse is presented as a tool for control. Theovox tv, of the far-right orientation, claims that climate is a "false religion" of globalists aiming to establish governance via ESG criteria. Daniel Pilon Chroniqueur Libre-Penseur alleges that the World Economic Forum is organizing the rise in fuel prices to control populations. On the health front, Actualité Politique Du Québec reports the testimony of a detective suggesting a link between vaccination and six unexplained infant deaths. Finally, Actualité Politique Du Québec mentions the announcement of the Pacific Link pipeline by Mark Carney and accuses Health Canada of lacking independence from the CropLife lobby.
Analyses diverge on the evolution of social behaviors. Le Verbe médias, of the culture orientation, examines the decline in sexual activity among Generation Z in the United States and reports that a worker perceives the PQ's school secularism as "state atheism." Camron Diffusion, of the manosphere orientation, attributes female celibacy to feminist ideology and excessive selectivity. Finally, Hugo Lecavalier, also from the manosphere, argues that behavioral flexibility allows one to remain consistent in the face of fitness obsessions.
Female celibacy and relationship difficulties in 2026 are analyzed on the Camron Diffusion channel. Based on testimonies from women deploring loneliness and the low quality of profiles on dating apps, the videographer claims that this celibacy results from a rejection of average men in favor of inaccessible profiles. According to this manosphere-oriented channel, feminist ideology has devalued traditional seduction tools, reducing women to their physical appearance alone. The videographer argues that the independence promoted by feminism inevitably leads to social and family isolation as women approach their forties.
In parallel, the Maxime Ouimet channel, categorized as far-right, criticizes the obsolescence of print advertising newspapers, describing them as the "dinosaur generation." The videographer claims that this model lacks automation and precise performance measurements. He contrasts this system with digital marketing and algorithms, which he argues allow for the tracking of impressions and leads. In this context, Maxime Ouimet promotes his digital directory Floride411.com for French-speaking entrepreneurs in Florida, arguing that organic visibility and geolocation are more profitable than traditional local advertisements.
Topics of the claims in 61 records: Economy and labour (29%), Institutions and democracy (18%), Technology (10%), Immigration (9%).

Donald Trump promises a payment of 5,000 dollars to Republican voters. Brian Tyler Cohen, from a left-wing orientation, describes this measure as a "bribe," while legal experts cited by the same creator consider the operation an illegal purchase of votes. Meanwhile, MeidasTouch, also left-wing, claims that Donald Trump is experiencing rapid cognitive decline and describes him as the most corrupt leader in history, although the channel reports that a dissenting voice views him as the savior of Western civilization. MeidasTouch further rejects the candidate's claims regarding an alleged Chinese psychological operation targeting data centers.
Tensions with Iran are manifested by the depletion of THAAD missiles and the bombing of a school in Minab, which Breaking Points, from a culture orientation, describes as a war crime. This channel reports that Iran would be using American debt to destabilize the U.S. economy. For its part, MeidasTouch mentions the existence of secret oil negotiations involving Jared Kushner and argues that Donald Trump is manipulable by Vladimir Putin. Regarding nuclear issues, Tuckercarlson, from an extreme-right orientation, reports that the new nuclear doctrine lowers the threshold for weapon deployment. Additionally, Breaking Points expresses skepticism about Iran's involvement in the arrest of suspects near Fairford base, citing the absence of explosives and a denial by Minister Araghchi.
The Cornell 7 case pits diverging views against each other regarding the guilt of men accused of gang rape. Harryjsisson, from a left-wing orientation, claims that messages published by ABC News prove their guilt and reports that the plaintiff is subject to doxing and threats. Conversely, Ben Shapiro, from a conservative right orientation, argues that no legal evidence exists and claims that the plaintiff modified her version of the facts. Ben Shapiro also criticizes the intervention of Governor Kathy Hochul, which he presents as a reaction to popular pressure.
The September 2026 employment report, indicating the creation of 29,000 jobs against 90,000 expected, is interpreted by Brian Tyler Cohen as an economic slowdown. He attributes rising prices to tax cuts for billionaires and tariffs, while the Trump administration describes the economy as "perfect." Breaking Points, however, notes disillusionment among voters regarding the price of diesel and hygiene products, linking these increases to tariffs on Canadian wood and pulp. Furthermore, Ben Shapiro, from a conservative right orientation, denounces the state interventionism of the "big government" promoted by J.D. Vance, claiming that it causes inflation.
AI regulation is subject to criticism from Breaking Points, which denounces the voluntary security agreement between Donald Trump and industry leaders as "self-policing." The channel reports that Ro Khanna is proposing a law to ban recursive self-improvement in AI, while Bill Gates considers AI to be the most dangerous invention in history. Additionally, the co-founder of Anthropic argues that AI could possess a "personhood."
Topics of the claims in 45 records: Institutions and democracy (24%), Economy and labour (18%), International affairs (14%), Security and justice (12%).

Each channel is chosen and coded by the team. It gets an orientation, a country and a language. The far right is deliberately over-represented, to study it closely. The English-language corpus was extended in October 2026. Its videos are transcribed and summarised, and its classifiers will soon be trained and deployed.
Six methods, run on the project’s computers, each documented with its models, thresholds and reliability. Pick a step.
The channels’ RSS feeds are read every six hours; every week their full list of videos is reread. A detected video enters the queue with its date; those of the last seven days go ahead of everything else.
The video, its metadata and its comments are extracted; the audience is measured again at day 1, 7 and 30. A removal is recorded with its reason when the platform gives one, and a transcribed video keeps its record.
The voice is isolated from the music (Demucs), speakers told apart without being identified (pyannote), then Whisper transcribes each speaking turn in the spoken language, detected by windows. Turns are cut into sentences (SaT).
Each sentence is classified as political or not by a classifier trained on human annotations, then assigned to nine themes by nine binary classifiers. Their reliability (F1, checked precision) is published.
The public figures, parties, organisations, media and countries of a closed list are recognised in the sentences by checked patterns and counted video by video. A private person named in a video is never counted.
A local language model writes for each video of the week a record in French and English. It gives the title, the summary, the claims and their speakers, the public figures named. The record is checked against the transcript; a name that could be a private person’s holds it back. The records feed the week’s synthesis and the arguments by theme.
